NERVOUS about getting a loan

18 years 7 months ago
I guess it is good but I almost feel like I am having a small panic attack about having another bill. We are not seriously in debt. It is managable. I would love to have at least a small savings account going but at the time it just doesn't seem possible and now we need a van.(as I said in another post) I am just worried that something will happen with a new loan. I am watching the interest rate because our mortgage rate is much lower then what the rate is right now. If we refinance for the same amount we will owe more a month.

Pay Day Loans charge a horrendous interest rate

18 years 7 months ago
Hi: I have several pay day loans that I need to get rid off. As I read messages in this forum, a lot of people are on the same situation. I would like to know if there is a way to consolidate payday loans into one payment the way is done with credit cards and other debts. These companies charges a horrendous interest rate. Any help provided will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. PS: I live in NY

I am in North Carolina.

18 years 7 months ago
I am in North Carolina. 11 years ago I made a Purchase from Office Depot Credit and after a couple years, paid it off. Or so I thought. There was apparently an additional amount left on the account. in 2004 the creditors tracked us down (not that I was hiding - I just never had any coorespondance from them) and said my account balance was $1236 - almost twice the original purchase amount! My wife contacted the Office Depot Credit Department and reached a verbal agreement to pay the balance off in a single lump sum of $900.00.

Leading Edge Recovery-Can they do this?

18 years 7 months ago
I have an HSBC account that went into collections since I was unable to work from an injury. Leading Edge Recovery Solutions became the CA and sent me letters and called numerous times and left a message with the name Harvey Liebowitz. So, I got in touch with them in late-May and made an agreement with one of their agents. We agreed to a settlement of 80% and would pay this off in two monthly installments in May and June, which I paid in full.

Allied Credit Financial / Attorney John Frye Office

Hello, I am very happy to have found this site!! I have to say that you really do a very good thing here. Its sad that we find ourselves in a place like this, but bad things happen to good people. In saying that people should not be treated even worse then we already feel - as they have no clue what is going on in our lives to have ended up here in the first place. Anyhow Please do forgive me for the double post as I should have started my thread here. To begin I also had a lovely encounter with Allied Credit Financial / Attorney John Frye Office yesterday ...

United Cash Loans...UGH!!!!

18 years 7 months ago
I had taken out a $300 PDL with these jerks....UGH (boy was I stupid)! I already paid $360 in fees to them and they are still telling me I owe $465.00 on a $300 loan! He just called to harass me at work. T & C was supposed to be working with them but now that I look at it, I have already overpaid by $15!!! He said he was going to put "refusal to pay" on my account, but funny thing is they accepted an agreement from T & C already but now that I have looked again, they don't even deserve that. What should I do??? I am sooo frustrated right now!

Will my credit score drop?

18 years 7 months ago
My credit score now has dropped because of more of my income going out than coming in. This is due to to many personal loans and maxed out credit cards. Will this program hurt my credit or cause more credit problems?
