Hi-- I have gotten myself into the PDLs trap. I have 10 PDLs. I tried the debt counseling on this site, but the counselor refused to help or give any suggestions. I don't want to close my bank account, but don't see any other alternative. I have tried several loan co's, debt consolidation co's, but no one will help. If anybody has any suggestions, I would appreciate it. John

Hello all.. This is pretty sudden, but I'm having a issue with the CA(NCO). I have a credit card account which I stopped paying due to being laid off. The original balance was about $1065 and with late fees and interest spiked to almost $1600. So NCO called me today, saying that if I don't pay the amount in full by the next few days, the bank will sue and it's going to spike up to about 3-4 thousand or so. He precedes to say that he can lower it down to the original debt of about a thousand dollars. He kept saying it's best to get the money from a relative, you know typical bul... lol.

I just received a civil warrant delivered to me by the constable's office concerning a debt that an attorney in TN is saying I owe. The name of the company bringing the on the warrant is CACH, LLC. I have never heard of them andI am at a lost as to where this debt is coming from. The constable told me to call the number on the warrant tomorrow morning and try to resolve this before boing to court. Who is CACH,LLC anyway?

i have heard that it takes 7 years for stuff to come off a report. 7 years from when?? if you have a credit card from 2000 to 2005 and were late in like feb of 2000, does it come off 7 years from feb of 2000 or 7 years from 2004? i have talked to the creditors and they claim it's gonna stay until 7 years from the close date. if this is true, then should i close a credit card upon the first time it's late??

My boyfriend wants to consolidate his bills and loans from friends and has bad credit. What should he do? He makes about $600 a week.

I am presented with a bill from Alliedinterstate, for less than 75 dollars, for a book club in which the books were returned. I do not owe this amount,and now I am told it will be listed with the Credit Index. This is the first bill collection, but not the first time that a book club has billed me for books that I asked not to be sent and sent back promply. Will this effect my credit? thank you jo

So, it's a long story, but I had to move out and find my own place to live after college, and my monthly income at GAP (paying me minimum wage) wasn't enough to cover all my living expenses (furniture for a new apartment, clothing, food, utilities, etc.) Eight months after that I had to make a completely move (even longer story) and had to rebuy all new furniture. I estimate my credit card debt to be around 15/17k. I do not have a house to mortgage with, and due to recent events all of my cards are in collections.

I was just wondering if anyone new ( as in this year) has had any dealing with his joke of a person and the Law offices?!? my dad got a call from them i say about 3 weeks ago and he was a little suspicious because they couldnt give him a claim number or anything...and we havent herd from them since so i came on here and found all of this! anyone?
