I joined a debt settlement Company in August, 06 one of the creditors Household Finance is taking me to court because they don't want to settle on 6/28, the debt settlement company tells me is only a judgment, I wonder what will happen in court because the attorneys Rolfe and Lobello are going to be via phone they will not be present, can someone tell me what will happen.

First a bill collector say's this will mess up your credit ,well the debter has already reported you so your credit is screwed so why would anyone want to pay their bill. Second-They tell you they are starting court process and you must show up - well why pay when you are going to have to go to court. 3rd-You go to court and have no bank account and the judge orders you to pay and you have just lost your job and have no savings-why must you pay I have my daughter who has told everyone of her bill collectors she is filing bank rupcey and they all tell her it is a bad idea cause her credit will

well i was doing real good with paying all of my loans and credit cards until... well i was on a role with everything. i had a great credit score, many things in my name but they were positives. then i decided to put things in my name or loans in my name to help out friends who i thought i could trust, well that back fired in my face and now im stock in debt with constant worries and long nights and stomache aches. i just want to get back on my feet again.

I had an account go to charge off due to a job loss several years ago. I was able to reach an agreement with an attorney representing the credit card company in August 2002. I have paid on time each month since the agreement. However, these payments do not show up anywhere on the credit report. Is it possible to have these payments reported to improve score? Or should I just continue to pay and eventually the OC chargeoff account will drop off credit report?

Hey friends, I was wondering if somebody could help me out here. I just received a call from Katherine Hallberg with a Bass Prelitigation out of Jacksonville, Florida. She told me that her office was investigating me for fraud on behalf of u.s. national bank, which is an affiliate of midland marketing for a payday loan I took out in April. The loan was for $250. She said I need to pay them $548 by 3:00 pm today or she would "download" the complaint against me to my home state, Kentucky. Can anybody shed some light on this and/ or offer up some advice? I would greatly appreciate it.
