Paid in Full Notation18 years 8 months ago If I accept a negotiated settlement for agreement of a paid in full notation. How will that look on credit report? I know I may be pipe dreaming but trying to build my score.
My score has been climbing. But I know a debt has been sold to a CA. The have sent me the initial letter and I sent back a settlement offer.
I believe I am going to have to send a validation letter request as they do not seem willing to accept my offer.
They did offer a PIF designation....I am not sure that is desirable because i do not have any CAs on my report.
Verbal Agreements18 years 8 months ago Any one else out there have the experience of having a verbal contract with an internet pdl? No signed loan documents? No signed anything? Just a verbal agreement? I have with Cash Today and Cash Relief (aka AIP). Both of these companies can not supply me with any documentation because there is none. What's up with this? I've been tring to get them to refund me (ha!) and have gotten so far as to file complaints. But I'm wondering if anyone else has done a "verbal agreement" and if they have a leg to stand on? Or even if I do, since there's nothing in writing.
Account turned over for collection18 years 8 months ago I found out that an account had bee sold to Arrow Financial and contacted them by phone before recieving a letter. I was asked to wait until recieving a letter which I did and sent a pay for delete/settlement letter. I sent CAjun's sample letter within the 30 day notice that they asked.
They have infomred me that it is not in their power to not list an item or to remive an item once psoted. They are currently not shown on my report and I amy still be able to before they post.
I guess I am going to have to dispute letter them and see if they show up.
RBS Credit Card18 years 8 months ago Anybody familiar with these guys and had any luck with settlements with them. The card is Royal Bank of Scottland and is a mastercard I believe.
Some advice please18 years 8 months ago On the 27th of April I fell in a parking lot of a restaurant. It was bad - I ended up spraining both ankles and my right knee. The payvment was uneaven and I just caught the wrong spot. I informed the manager (he is Mexican - I don't know if he didn't understand me or not) and he laughed about it. I am now getting a ton of medical bills for the ER, the x-rays, ets that my insurance does not cover all of. I am also still seeing my doctor (I lost three weeks of work for this).
Credit Repair for a pay for delete18 years 8 months ago If I have an item from Direct Energy that has been sent to creditors do i contact the creditor or direct energy for a pay for delete?
