I am in the process of abolishing this crazy ugly cycle I've gotten myself in. I have the letters written but I still am looking for a few mailing addresses for the following PDL Gallery Cash, AALM, CWP, Blue King, Blue Star, 123 Wages, and Payday Max. I just my sixth call from MCM, this one at 8:03 AM Sunday morning, looking for a Mr. Norman XXX, whom I may or may not be or may or may not know. My strategy is to keep the rep on the phone as long as possible, to remain completely noncommittal about any question, and to return questions to them, such as about MCM, their location, how well they like the job. I also correct their grammar, and ask about their education, and inquire why they couldn't find a better job. Sometimes, I ask them if they're attractive, but I haven't found a way to do this without their terminating the call.

Soaplady, My son attended an expensive university because he audition for it and was accepted. His tution bill came to $11,432.14. Even with a payment plan we were unable to pay it. It was turned over to a collection agency less than 30 days ago. They have increased the pay-off balance to $14,856.19. I don't understand why. If I could not pay the eleven thousand, how can I pay fourteen and again why that much?:( I expected to pay more once turned over to the collection agency but an additional three thousand plus? Can I protest? Is there a grace period before I have to pay the new amount?

Can credit card companies call your work in Connnecticut and if so can you write a letter to have them stop?

I'm sorry to post again about Cash Call, but I'm at the end of my rope. I've followed all the steps to no avail. I live in Nevada, and our State Attorney Generalddoea not handle this type of complaint. I went to the Nevada Financial Institutions Division. They don't handle this either, even though when I look up Installment loan laws, it states lenders have to obtain a license. They told me Cash Call had a deal for me to settle or reduce my intetest even though I paid more than the principal.

I have several payday loans and have recently learned that they are illegal in my state (Pa). In addition, there are laws limiting the amount of interest they can charge, which the have all violated. I have spoken with my state Dept. of Banking regarding this. I have paid atleast the principle on all but one account, and it most cases much more. Am I obligated to continue to pay (above the original amount borrowed) if they are illegal?
