Does any one know of a reputable company that deals with unsecured loans and less than perfect credit ratings? I signed up with a consolidation sompany, but I am second guessing myself about the choice now. I just want everything under one payment.

Most of this debt is in my girlfriends name but i am on the account. So i dont know if thats gonna matter. But we are trying to get all our debt taking care of and get our credit current. how long after there is no activity on your account is it no longer collectable by collection agencies

Have any of you received any threating calls from a man in New Jersey named Travis(who has an accent)who said he would call the police if I don't pay what I owe from Arrowhead Investments.

An entry called TABANK, in Schaumburg Illinois showed up on my credit report as an "open revolving charge account that was oppened Dec/1998. I have no idea who this is and am going to write to the address on the report and ask that it be closed. This type of thing causes what they cause excessive credit or gives you the impression that you could charge up to the credit limit if you wanted to. Do you recognize who it is?

If the payday loan company you have a loan with is not licensed in your state what recourse do you have?

A lawyer with Asset Acceptance has filed a pre-trial discovery over an account they seem to have acquired from Aspire Visa. I am fairly certain it is out of SOL for our state and want to verify this with Aspire. I am going to send of the certified validation letter to AA in a day or so. I simply want to send any certified letters all at once. I have googled Aspire Visa and have read they are not easy to contact and frequently refuse to verify accounts that have been charged off or in collections.
