Westbury ventures has got me, and I am fighting to break free from them. I have paid them over $900 on a $500 loan, I am still fighting, debt is horrible, I can't believe I have done this to myself and my family.

I had a used car that was about $8000 left on. But because I was getting out the military, I never had a new car. So i get one right before I got out. Well to say, I don't have it anymore. Not only I lost that car I had before, I lost my new car as well. I was in school for cosmetology, I'm finished but catching the bus now. And also now that I'm out of school, I'm still catching up on my bills. I really need a car and a second job. But how? I have no money for a down payment; I a repo on my record now because I couldn't pay my note or find a job that'll accomadate to my hours. I need help!

Has anyone every heard of this company? I recently had by bank account closed by the bank because they k kept overdrawing my account. I tried to call them and could not get through to anyone. Now they are calling me and saying that I've committed check fraud and internet fraud and they're pursuing legal action. That scares me to death. I told them to send me something via us mail and I would take care of it, but they said they couldn't do that and they could only fax me something after I paid $415.00!! My loan was only for 150.00. Can they do this?

First we took one out because of a bill that needed to be paid then again and now we have like 7 payday loans. now my bank has been overdrawn for about a month and a half and can't seem to get it back to normal. every time i get paid or my mom gets paid we put the money in and then by then the next due date comes up and again it gets overdrawn. i feel like im drowning. we never have money and we can't get a loan big enough to pay them off. i need major help! help please!

i am lost! i am ready to get my life back on track but i dont know where to start. i have debt sent to collectors but dont know how to find them and i believe i have something sent to the courts but i dont know how to find out....

Which state SOL applies? Hawaii - where I used to live in which the supposed acct was opened, or in Oklahoma - the state I have lived in for 5 years (with 2 years in S. Carolina in between OK and HI). Also, I keep reading in these forums that a SOL can be "renewed". How exactly does that happen?

Tate & Kirlin has called our house several times. Usually it would be a hangup call with no message on the answering machine, 2 messages were for a "C. Hugs", which is not my or my husband's name. I called the number back once and received no answer, ultimately forgetting about it as it's so long in between their phone calls. Tried again today (apr 17, '07), finally spoke to someone, who asked if this was the (my maiden name) household. I told him that was my maiden name.

Folks I haven't been around because of all the stuff that went on at the beginning of the year and I am not into this stuff anymore, anyhow I was hoping that one of you would help this fella as he posted on my "homepage" at this site.
