I got my first PIF letter today and another one is on it's way (so they say) So thats 2 down and 10 million left lol. Yep these were internet loans. I also paid off another storefront one last friday. WooooHoooo!!! I am still trying to make a settlement with oneclickcash but they are not being very helpful.

I'd like to get some advice from people perhaps in my similar situation. I currently work at home as a medical transcriptionist. Due to this type of work going offshore, pay and work has gone down the tubes. I currently work 3 part time jobs if the work is there. Just started the third one. Right now I bring home about $1000 a month. I just can't make ends meet, but make too much to get any kind of help. I need two phone lines two work and got behind on my phone bill.

I've been reading this site pretty hard for the last week, it seems debt settlement may be my best option. Any stories out there of success in a situation like mine. I have about $40,000 in unsecured debt. But may be able to liquidate assets and borrow from family to make a lump sum payment. I am unemployed but looking. Could I reasonably expect to settle for 25% of my debt. Right now I am current on all accounts but about to go behind on everything.

Watch out!!!, i had a loan w/this company 3 years ago or more and thought it was paid off and in fact was not, i had a differ bank account then and now about 3 years later differ bank and account # they found my info somehow and without notifing me they took out a total of $250.00 out of my account and screwed it up big time

I need some advice...I want to send letters out to revoke ACH authorization and wages but for some of my loans I can't find any account numbers. How should I handle this???

I have a question regarding disputes with collection companies, specifially Palisades. I have been disputing my "account" for about 2 1/2 years. Its seems i lost the dispute becuase Palisades either cant or wont to anymore research into my situation. i cosigned for a cellphone(bad idea ..i know) about 5 years ago, and this person had a 450$ bill. She got married, and transferred the debt to her husbands att account. before she could transfer and close the cosighed account, she needed(per att policy) pay the 450$ off.

Well my husband and i are in our twenties, and we have a son, our car bill is 450/month, and our house payment is 917 a month. when we tried to cut down our car bill we attempted to refinance through a bank and we decided not to do that cause that would have raised it by 300/a month making that bill way to much

Palisades are so annoying. I found in item on my credit report, which doesn't belong to me. I tried to contact them in writing but they never responded. Legally if they don't respond to you, the item should be taken off from the report. But they are so annyoing they don't do anything.

Hi All, I hope there is someone out there that can give me some good advise. I have received several phone calls at my place of employment from Mrs. Jacks @ Allen Lewis and Associates. No doubt this is regarding a payday loan company that they say i have defaulted on. However all of the payday loans i paid way more than i should have. The loan being defaulted is really not what i care about at this point. Right now i care about this woman harrasing me and my whole family. As many times as she has called me i have called her back and requested her to send me all the information in writing.
