im 20 years old and in college, debt is coming from across the board and im not willing to quit school for the time being to work full time to relinquish debt. ASSISTANCE REQUIRED. -BLAKE FIORVANTE :D

How do I get information about my debt? I've called the original credit card company, and was told to call Alliance One Receivables Management. When I call them, I'm either sent to someones voicemail, or the person hangs up on me when I interrupt their insults with simple questions about my account. I don't know if there's a due date or payment amount, but they cash the checks I send every month. How can I find out what charges are being added to my balance, and how the money I'm sending is being applied to my debt?

I really need help/advice regarding my payday loans. I currently have 4 loans at different stores in my state of Ohio. Its becoing overwhelming to keep track or them all and pay all my other bills. Any suggestions on how to negotiate or work with these lenders? Thanks Jay (Columbus, OH)

If your credit is bad, can you get a personal loan if so what company is good for that

ok - been going through all the info in my file for the medical debt I have been posting about. Have not gotten any response or the card yet from the dv from the ca. Here is the question. On the monthly medicine shipment, I had assistance from a non profit organization, and they made payments beyond the dates that I did. I never got any more bills from them past 7/2003. I paid that bill, then nothing after that. (thats why I thought they were just accepting what the foundation was paying them) The organization paid them until 12/2003. As I said the last payment from ME was 7/2003.

My husband has a loan with American General Finance. He is two months behind, but will be able to catch up in the next couple of weeks. I came home today to find a note from the local branch taped to our door. I was SHOCKED! Are creditors allowed to show up at your front door like this? I feel this was VERY threatening...that would have had to MapQuest to find our home.

I know I have been a little testy well nasty really.. we have a meeting in 15 minutes and the talk around the office is the company is moving out of state or that major layoff are coming.. Now I have noticed that a few different CA's have gotten a "Hard copy" of my credit report, this inquiry will last for 2 years, But I also noticed that the have done a "review inquiry" for my credit report also. Can they do this?

Hi, I am also having trouble with allied interstate They claim that I owe them money for a student Loan made in 1990. I did not go to school at this time as I was in the U.S. Navy. The guy that calls me is very rude and calls 3-4 Times a day, this Guy asks me for personal information such as my Social security, Date of Birth and more. I told him that I do not owe anyone money and I refuse to give him any personal Information, He gets very angry when I tell him that I do not know my social security number or Date of birth (Actually this was true, without the S.S. card and My D.O.B.

How long will a debt stay on my credit record? The debt is at least 6 years old but still keeps showing up. I thought for PA it was only 6 years
