Well, I had enrolled with Ballys in 2001 and apparently I didn't properly end my contract. It went from a little over $2,000.00 to over a whopping $4,000.00 dollars. They took me to court and won so what can I do? I am a single mom who just got a full time job. They will be taking about $40 to $60 from my check every week and I want to get rid of them. Does anyone think they will lower it back to the starting amount if I pay immediatly? I will be getting my tax refund in the next 2 weeks so it won't be a problem. But what's the best way to do it? Thanks.

I moved to mi from fl got into an accident and had a bunch of legal fees and had to pay the court instead of my bills. So now I have to get back on track.

I was wondering what you thought of credit solutions? It sounds awesome, but is it what it appears? Does it show up on your credit as negative?

I sent an fdcpa validation letter to RJM and they ignored it. I called them 30 days later and asked if they ever received it. The rep said that the info I requested was still on order. He directed me to an outside agency called TRAK acquisitions. They refused to talk to me about my account. Within two weeks I was served with papers and now I have a court date scheduled in early april. They don't want to talk settlement, payment plan or nothing. Why didn't any member of the community give a heads up about sending these letters??

So my student loans have been in default for a while. They have collected our 2005 tax return for over $3K. We have not yet filed for 2006. Some chick from PCR called me 10 minutes ago and wanted to talk to me about my student loans. I told her that our tax refund would take care of it. She said, "How do you know that?" I said, "Because it did last year." She then tried to tell me that payment was not posted last year. I said, "Well, where did my tax refund go?" and she said she didn't know.

I received a letter from 1st credit of america wednesday feb. 21 07, stating that i owed $526.94 from a P.C.M. Management. It raised some doubt because i couldn't remember dealing with a PCM Management, and i never got anything in the mail a PCM Management in the past stating that i owed a debt so why all the sudden would i owe that amount of money now. I did some research online about this 1st credit of america and think that i have come to the conclusion that they make false claims about debts, I will be contacting them tomorrow. Any words of advice would be helpful.

Who makes the decision to sue - the original creditor or the CA? I am still so upset about the issue with RAB & my son's bill, I can't sleep. After I called the dr's office & told them what the pharmacy pulled, they told their local liason to the pharmacy (original debt) and he said my case went "all the way to the top" yeah right they were supposed to call me & still haven't. Meantime I did send a certified letter for dispute to RAB. I just wonder if I should call the pharmacy or wait to see what happens. Either way I do NOT want to deal with the CA in any way.

As many of you know, I'm a HUGE Goo Goo Dolls fan. My hubby bought me tickets for the show in Cinci but I had purchased tickets for the March 14th show in Fort Wayne. I took a chance and entered to win a meet and greet with the band for both concerts. I WON ONE FOR THE FORT WAYNE SHOW! Sorry about the caps but I am very excited. I never win anything and my luck has been in the crapper lately. I thought I would have to sell my tickets because mom is having a small procedure done two days before the Fort Wayne show.
