Hi everyone.... i'm new here as a member, but i have been checking out this site and it seems like its very helpful to us with debt issues. I'm not sure if i'm in the right place but here is my question... I'm ready to start fixing up my credit and pay off my debt and i'm looking for a debt relife/consolidation company to help me out. However i have heard so many horror stories about consolidation companies that i'm scared to even start. I'm looking for tips and referrals or just your experiences with debt relief companies as well as what i should be expecting from them.

I currently have 5 payday loans out, and I am way over my head. I took one loan out to pay off the other and that was were the trouble started. I am way over my head and drowning in debt. My whole paycheck is alright accounted for when I am paid because of these loans. For one loan in which I borrowed $250.00 I paid almost $700.00 back. Could someone please help and guide me into a direction in which I could possibly take. Thanks!

For the past several months I have received over 200 phone calls from both companies who are trying to collect on a verizon bill. I have offered to pay the account but they either want my bank account number or a Credit Card. I have told them that I will send a money order and they have refused. I have sent several letters to them by Certified Mail and both companies have refused them. Both of these companies claim that they are registered in all 50 States to do business. Wrong!
