Is Westbury Ventures a true collection firm...??

Shortly after I enrolled, I was contacted by a credit assistance company. Is this standard procedure? Are they affiliated with you?

I posted this somewhere before but cant find that thread so I'll give you a synopsis.....I had a problem with Canshnet500, I verbally and via email revoked my auth to wage garnishment. I'm in Florida, I paid $500 on a $350 loan. They somehow found another account and took another $590 our of it. It took my bank a week to get that money back into my account. I now have another new account. My questions are: What do I put in my letter to my States attorney general, I know to file a compalaint but how do I word that? Do I need to file a complaint anywhere else?

I have a problem here. I have had one bank account seized by Mel Harris and Associates. They list the creditor as Metris. I never owed a company named Metris anything. I don't know who the original creditor is. I also never received a subpoena or summons to appear in court on a judgment that was filed against me for this. What can I do and how do I keep from having my business checking account from being seized, as well. If this happens I simply won't have a home.

Is it true that is a collection company/attorney is based in one state, they can not sue you in another?

My wife and i are encountering the same threats from acollection company hired by m1y direct. We had to close her acct due to fraud by another loan company, and thought that she was paid in full to m1y direct. When she took the loan out she was told by jason that it is paid in 3 installments and then paid in full. If not paid in full they would take $75.00 off the total per pay period until the loan was repaid. It should had been paid off the first period in dec. Now they are saying we owe over $600.00 now or we will be charged with internet fraud. Can they do this?

does anyone know the fax mumber to m&i bankcard services.. i have a credit card with them that is in the t&c they called me like 4 times today.. i want to fax them a cease all calls letter and advise them to call t&c.. any suggestions on how to write this letter? i know ankcard services is 877-517-8668 any suggestions will be appricaited

hello all.. in sept 2006 i sent a debt validation letter to central portfolio control asking them to validate a debt to e-payday loans.. they never responded and just yesterday i get something in the mail saying i owe them for a bounced check i swore was resent to the bank.. im not paying them a dime.. im going to make them validate this new debt they claim and the one i asked for validation for in sept..
