I am in a load of debt trouble. I have spoken to several settlement firms about eliminating my credit card debt. I am very confused about finding a legitimate company. I don't want to make a mistake and hurt my family future. Can anyone suggest a legitimate company and why it is better than the others?

I have some outstanding PDL's and I live in Michigan. I have read the law but I don't understand how it relates to me. I contact one company and was told that I had an original loan with them for $300 and that I now owe $205.32. I informed them that they have been taking funds out of my account for 6 months and I was told that that was for a renewal fee of $90 for every 2 weeks. At this rate I will owe them forever.

your site came up under MTe financial and I have a problem with them. I have a payday loan thru them, I cannot enter their webstite, and the phone numbers are bogus. They are taking 90 dollars a week out of my account and there is know way for me to contact them to pay off my loan. How do I get in touch with these people? If someone doesnot contact me soon I am going to close out my checking account! Does anyone know how to get a hold of these people?

I was just trying to get on Eqifax, the last of my free credit reports for my attorney, and the web site for them told me that my report was frozen and that if I wanted the information I would have to mail proof of identity to them. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm a little concerned about this.(sorry this will show up somewhere else also -sslip of the finger)

A Creditor keeps calling my house about my daughters small debt that she has not paid. I told them that she was grown and did not live at my address any more and to stop calling. He actually called the former owner of my home and had him relay a message to my me at my house right after I told him to stop calling. They said it was legal. He called it a reverse search.
