Can someone tell me what and who this Westbury Adventures is? I didn't even take a loan out with them and I don't know how this happened, but they have taken over $700.00 out of my savings account and now this woman keeps emailing me with all different types of threats,PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO!! OK - I just got an e-mail from these ppl and they are telling me that they cannot talk to my attorney without court papers. "Again, We need legal court papers in order to speak with your attorney." This is the 3rd e-mail that I have sent to them in the last 24 hours. Am I stupid - I could swear that my attorney said to forward all calls to him - in fact I have a paper with that written on it. I am not stupid - but I certainly am dealing with morons!!

I am not finacily unstable, but I was wondering how this works and if I could only make one monthly payment without being overdue with my bills. I have a personal loan and an auto loan that I would like to try and consalidate!

Can collection agengies pull my credit report and tell me that I have a credit card with enough money to pay them there money?

hi. I'm new here, can you bear with me? I'm looking for legal advice. ok, I sold my plasma, for $30 every time. i know you're only supposed to do it two times a week, but i did it every day. see, i would do it in one city on monday, then drive 20 miles somewhere else on tues, then back to the original city on wed. you get the picture. I'm lazy, and I don't want to work, so I thought this was a great idea, I mean, $150 a week to do nothing. Then I would return things I had laying around if I needed more money. Easy dough. well, then my vein collapsed. here's where I need your help.

I lost my job and need help !! I was dateing a girl for 3 years things were good we were charging on my cards with the belief she would hel pay them off ( As she promised ) next thing I know she cheated on me so i left and am now stuck trying 2 do it on my own !!!

A couple of months ago, allied interstate contacted me about a debt that I owe to Cingular wireless. I understood the amount and the fact that I have to pay them. They wanted me to pay the 900 dollar bill in one payment (I am a single mom, and I work as a server) so that was out of the question. I told them that I can afford $100 right now, so they took a check by phone. They said that there were 2 plans I could be set up for to pay- one was a 3 month plan and the other was a 4 month plan. Neither of which I could afford.

Oh, I had a ROTTEN day today!! I got into an argument with a supervisor..(Not my boss) at work, it got pretty ugly..He was in my face pointing and yelling in front of a LOT of people, and I lost it..I started to cry!! I'm the HR person, for crying out loud, I'm supposed to be the tough one..And I lost my freakin' composure in front of a bunch of people because a mean little man with short-man syndrome called me uncooperative and said I didn't listen..He then said I only had my job because I filled a quota.

About 5 months ago I paid off a debt of mine that has been on my credit report for a bit. I was told that if I pay off debt it would be removed from my credit report with in 90 days. It has now been 120 days and it still remains on my credit report. How do I go about contacting the credit bureau to give them the information that a debt has been paid? I mean, can I even do that or do I have to sit by and wait for the company that I paid off to post that info??

OK, so I got three calls from three different places. One from Bay Area Credit (T mobile acct that I took out for my little brother, he didn't pay it). Also, one from NCO financial (PayPal account). And then one from a 000-000-0000 number that left a msg saying "this is an important message for" and hung up. Anyway, I had a question about this fiasco. Should I just change my number? I only use it for very few people, and no one I work with or anything knows it, so it isn't like I need it for my job. What would the repercussions be if I change it?
