Needing a little help here please...I have this loan that I haven't paid them anything on. The initial amount of the loan was for $175.00, with finance charges $228.50. I need to know how much to pay them $175 or $228.50, b/c I live in NC and they are illegal here. I am pretty sure that I only need to pay them $175.00, correct me if I am wrong. I need a letter so I can get arrangements on paying this back, but I am afraid that if I email them saying that I am only going to pay back the principal that they will not give me arrangements.

I have been with them since June, I am still getting phone calls and just recieved a letter from a lawyer trying to recieve payment from me, when I called Hess they said they sent out letters, but now I am really concern, and no one from Hess has gotten in contact with me to tell me what to do or what is going on.

I am a college student and thought I would get a job. The job fell through and I got credit cards. I made a huge mistake. Now I'm looking at debt consolidation for college student.

Okay I had a brain explosion tonight and an idea..How about the gurus behind the scenes create a classified section for registered users. We are all trying to earn extra money here and there why not post things we want to sell in a classified section. Also if there was a section for trades or just plain "I have this to give away who wants it" section. Anybody want to chime in on this idea? Also I thought this would be a great beginning thread for anyone else who has a suggestion for the peeps here at DCC.

We will be sending soon the c+d,but today (Saturday) there were 14 calls starting at 8:18am to 4:55pm and they never leave a message.At least on Saturdays it looks like they close up shop at 5:00,but 8:18am is a bit ridiculous don't you think?
