I received a summons regarding a collection acct with Mann Bracken (Target National Bank was the original acct). I spoke with someone at Mann Bracken May 31, 2006 and they said they needed a payment in full within the week or they would take legal action. I tried to scrape the money together, but at the time I was a college student who waited tables. I believe I talked with them 1 more time after this, but I have had no contact for the past few months. Now I have to go to court in January regarding this, and I am unsure what I should do.

Has anyone heard of First Financial Asset Management.? They are based in Atlanta and seem to be connected to Palisades Acquisitions. I have done a search on First Financial and nothing came up.

Well I email and faxed my letters to my five payday lenders; cashcentral; paydayok;paydayselect;cashnetusa;and tendollarpayday. I got a response from paydayok, paydayselect and tendollarpayday and they are all going to stop the interest and fees and I just owe the principal. They will accept my payment arragment of $50 each payday. I haven't heard from CashCentral or cashnetusa yet but I have been getting this mean sounding man leave a message on my machine all it says is this is Shawn somebody you need to call me back. caller ID says its from CCE?

I'm sooo glad I found this website. They called me also said they were going to file legal papers on me at work by tomorrow if I didn't pay. They want me to repay the loan plus $200 in interest and fees. Does anyone know if I HAVE to pay those fees?

I received a summons in august and the court date is on friday december the 8th. The only thing about that is they sent the summons to my grandmothers address which use to be my old address and I did not get the summons until I went to my grandmothers house for the holiday. I have not lived at my grandmothers house in the last 3 years, what should I do, should I show up in court or call the collector, thanks

I amde a laon through total lending 10/30/06 all interest payments have been deducted from my acct, however to unauthorized debits to my acct from a company called gfsil, my bank closed my acct and opened another. I called everyone/emailed etc companies i've been dealing with and have had no problem making arraingements for moneygram/money orders for the amt owed. However, gfsil will not take anyother form of payment other than bank draft. Today at work i recieved a call from a man calling himself frank miller from the united processing div.

I am being sued for a credit card loan by Midland funding llc I don't owe this the amount in question. I have a court date in Dec and Have received the discovery papers which I will reply to any syggestion on how to continue from this point?
