I just got off the phone w/Payday one, Payday OK and Payday Select concerning my refund. I was told that instead of my loan being marked paid in full, they were charged off. AND reported to teletrack. How do I fight this one?

I have several credit cards that are maxed out along with some student loans and an outrageous IRS bill stemming from when my husband was an independant contractor and we didn't make enough to put money aside for taxes every month. Needless to say I feel like we are drowning and no matter how hard I try I cannot put a dent in the principle owed because of the alarming interest rates! I am working on myy credit report and trying to get these charges that are not mine taken off, Island National is on there and the gentleman that I spoke with seemed to be aggitated that I was requesting for an investigation, and continued to avoid the request so my question is if I send this letter will they have to obey the law and remove in 30 days? I also wanted to know what should I do to have a credit card that is in good standing revoked because it is not mine and I have never had one.
