Need some input from any one in this forum who has had to deal w/Paycheck Today.

Mother died a year ago and recently Asset Accept. filed against her home listing several creditors as primary creditor which she owed. is this legal? and what can I ask them to provide me in an attempt to remedy this?

Same story as everyone else. Please, please, go to Rip-off Report.com and file a complaint there, along with the other 1,470 others (including mine). This is where Attorney Generals, other authorities go to see how customers are being taken care of. They wont refund my money, so I filed a report with BBB, FTC, Attorney Generals Office, consumerwatch(at)cbs5.com. Will let you know what happens. Kathy

I am now living in the USA and my wife is still in Germany.We filed Bankrupcy in Germany and one of us had to stay in Germany for the court dates. I came to the USA to get a job, place for us to live and all of that, Now my wife says that they are not doing my half of the Bankrupcy. In Germany even if your married and file Bankrupcy its split down the middle. To top it off now my wife has filed for divorce and I dont know what to do. My question is can or will Germany make me pay that back ?

How can I stop this before it goes through, isn't there a person to speak to to stop this. I am scared after reading all these posts, can anyone help? Has anyone cancelled the loan?

It is important under any circumstance beyond life and death to always keep your cool when talking to a collector. If you get a jerk on the line then keep repeating to yourself, what goes around comes around and I'm sure you don't want to be one of the persons who gets hit on the downswing. It is ok to be angry at the situation but it isn't ok to take it out on anyone.

Guys am I reading correctly? Have they actually passed a law that goes into effect Jan 2007? That says you cannot give payday loans or title loans to military? It was in newspaper. Hope they take the same action on our part. It would be nice to see some lenders help people that are not trying to take advantage of people. KYSIDE38

I have so much debt and I really want to clean up my credit, but how? I haven't paid on my cards since probably about 1999-2000. I was young and stupid and now I'm paying for it. I have one creditor threatening to take me to court. I have no idea what to do. I feel like I have the worst credit in the world and I have no idea what to do. Should I file Bankruptcy? I probably owe about $8-9,000 and of course these are all in collections now. What do I do? Can someone help?
