if the statue of limitations expired on a creditcard and the collectors get a judgment against you because you didn't go to court can you take them back to court and sue them under the federal trade law?
Hi. My name is Geralyn VanZutphen. I work at a firm in Southfield. I have bills that I need to pay and they just keep adding up. I want a way to be able to have a payment plan so that I can have good credit again. I need help with this. Thanks!
When does the SOL begin? Is this with the First missed payment or the date it is charged off? What appears as a chargeoff has possibly been re-aged to reflect a last payment date of 4/2006 to NCO. I have NEVER made a payment or spoken to these folks. Please help.

How do I write the bbb about onestep cash? Do they have a address, because what they are doing is illegal. I borrowed $300 and they are charging principle and interest. That has got to be illegal. They have double charged my account several times. I payed the remaining balance, and they still charged me the remaining balance plus interest. How can you borrow $300 and owe them $600.
I am court ordered to pay 1st mortgage. went from $833 to $1900 in one year. Husband won't cooperate and banks won't either - had the house on market for over 6 months (husband refuses to price reduction for quick sale).

I need some advice - I have credit card debits that were recently sold to yet another collection agency. This one is run by a lawyer who sent me a letter and then left me two messages (I was out of the country at the time) saying they were considering garnishing my wages. That was two weeks ago and I have not heard anything since then. Tonight I was checking my bank balance to pay rent and my account has been frozen. Don't they have to go to court to do anything like garnish wages or freeze account? Aren't I supposed to be informed of the court date so I can appear also?
