i have over $1,000 in late fees on my mortgage. I am behind to the point of foreclosure, but feel i can make partial payments now. how can i get the late fees removed?

When settle with a collection agent, don't you have to settle w/cash? I am talking about GM credit card that i co-signed 10 yrs ago and is 4 months w/no payment. i do not have any cash, but can make payments.

my ex-stepson (21 years ago) has apparently racked up a huge debt which he will never be able to repay because of multiple handicaps he's had all his life. I've not been in contact with him for years and it certainly is not MY debt. Cbe group calls and leaves a creepy computer recorded computer voice with threats so I called back. The man was rude, insinuated I knew where my stepson is, demanded to know my name ss# etc which I wouldn't give, and he hung up. What can I do if all they do is leave creepy recordings of computer voices, or demand info I can't give and hang up if I call back?

I took a loan out with firesidecash.com in the amount of $500.00. They are taking $150.00 every two weeks from account but nothing is going towards the $500.00. Are they license to do this? I thought they had to put some it towards the balance owed on the account? Please help me. I reside in TX and not sure of TX Laws when it comes to online payday loans.

Hello everyone! I posted this under Anonymous earlier, but now I don't see the thread, and this was before I read the "Read Here Before Posting in this Forum" thread. Now I am ready to go! I came across this forum yesterday, I closed my bank account and sent emails today. Now, I'm nervous, because I just realized that the thread I was following was started in 2009, and I'm wondering if legislation has changed. I have a total of 12 payday loans (I know, I'm an idiot).

I am currently in the process of sending cease and desist orders in response to several years of harrassment regarding an unknown subject for which i am being contacted..I am sending this as a component of Federal Trade Commission requirements prior to seeking legal council. Which address should I be using1 or all.

I contacted the debt collector company Equable Ascent Financial after they validated my debt. I wanted to make a settlement with them but they told me they dont actually settle the debt. They also told me that I had put disputed on my credit report and I had to remove the disputed which meant that I agreed that I owed the debt to them. Equable bought my debt from Chase Credit Card and Chase said that Equable now owns my debt. Is it true that I have to take off the dispute before negotiating with Equable Financial?

HELP ME PLEASE!! Yes, I am in the payday loan rut, and I read this forum and took step 1. I closed my bank account. At Step 2, after contacting one of my lenders in order to obtain an email address, I was told that this site had misinformed me. The customer service associate said that I had paid enough payments and that he would settle my loan in full, but that would not always be the case. Now I'm confused!

So I was walking through the breakroom at work and a guy was watching one of the flat screens and a commercial comes on.... Cash Call is offering mortgages!!! I couldn't believe what I was seeing. That can't be right, right?!

Someone from Unified PS Group contacted me regarding a payday loan with MB processing. The collections agency is licensed in my state, I am not sure if MB Processing or Marketing is license. Anyway they have contacted my employer and are threatening to get a judgement to garnish my wages. They said that the total amount I owe on a $250 loan is $24000. They called me at work 10 times today and spoke to my supervisor and colleagues about this matter. They said that they planning to obtain a judgement against me. I am not sure what to do. The guy was really rude to me.
