Ok, National Action Financial Services have made the first initial call today around 8:30 this morning. I have no idea who they're calling about (me or my wife) since the phones in her name. I refuse to talk to this guys from National Action Financial Services at all. I've chased off allied interstate, Merchants and now these goons. I do not have an account number for an alleged debt that they say one of owes. I need to send a C&D letter but no account number.

I incured a debt to Discover Card and as I don\'t deny it, I do hope to take care of it when I go back to work, but the time being I can\'t afford it. My husband supports our children and I. MCM says I owe them over 5K on it. My origional debt with Discover was 1400. I haven\'t received a letter or phone call since 2001. They somehow got my new number and have started calling me. I find this odd because it just fell off of my Experian credit file and is falling off of my TransUnion in Feb of 07. What are my rights and how do I find out where they came up with the 4000 in fees or whatever.

I have a friend of mine has an overdraft of $800.00 with a bank (checking account) the account was closed by the bank. He intends to pay back the amount but can not all at once. He said he received a call from someone at 6:00 am his local time and the person left a voicemail with case number. I told him about this website but he is scared and said this is a bank and not a store front or pay day loan he is afraid he will be reported by the bank or the agency that is handling the collection to the police or D.A. Any advice would be appreciated.

Does any one know if zip cash goes by any other names? Becasue i just received a phone call at work from them but i dont have an account with zip cash.

Ok so i have about 11 PDL companies that do not have licenses to operate in my law. Legally how can they go about me re-paying? Also how does it work if they snend wage garnishment? Id it 1 garnishment till its paid off and then the next person in line gets it...or do they let all 11 companies go at one and consume my entire chevk?

I've posted earlier about a collection company for a pdl company that was settled months ago that was on my credit report. I'm not sure what my next step is because I have disputed it with the credit bureau. I received a letter stating it was going to stay on there as an unpaid collection. Huh? I have the letters from the original lender and the CA stating it was taken care of and nothing should hit my credit report. Should I send in the documentation to the credit bureau? I'm so irked because I just want to file a complaint with the FTC as well. Do I have any legal resources for this?
