Has anyone dealt with a company called Cross-Check before? They are a company that collects on NSF checks and are based out of California.

MIL was hit by a driver who had no insurance while visiting us in MI. She was told since he had a minor child he could no have wage garnishment? Is this right? My Dh/I just had a judgement placed on us that if not PIF in 21 days we were told we would be garnished. We have 3 young children (6 and under) amd ,ake a whopping 26 k/yr... I tried to search ,minor and judgements all I can find is child support info--- any one know about this?

Because I have no established Credit I searched and found this company that claims that they have found me a list of lenders that WILL lend me up to $30,000 guaranteed but I must Pay them a fee listed in a schedule depending on the requested amount of my application. PCSinc. claims to be an established reputable business but they are impossible to phone or FAX. I have property which is being liquidated but I need the money to close on a home right NOW. I can send you copies of my correspondence with this company. I am sixty years old and am facing deadlines and scared to death.

My last paycheck was garnished in the amount of 773.xx on the first of the month by asset acceptance llc. I am working in swtzerland for a university in Calif. Just today I recieved the earnings withholding order. How can I find out who the originater and were the debt. is from. Don't they need to serve me papers prior to the court date so that I may represent my side of the case?
