Why would a credit card company or loan company agree to reduce the amount owed?

where can I get a form letter to send to a payday lender chargin me way more than my state allows.

Ok so I wonder what they didnt understand that I am not going to pay them any more money? And that THEY owe me a refund??? Hi, I was directed here while doing a search for Pargon Funding. I contacted the Nevada ph.# listed. I was not behind in payments or had never defaulted but the same $90 kept coming out every 2 weeks for quite some time. I was under the premise that after 6 renewals the loan would start the paydown process. The girl on the phone was very friendly and told me that no that was no the cas but since I had been paying the $90 for so long she was putting my account back to $0.00 balance.

Hi, I've been dealing with payday loan for awhile now and no real problem. I got in a mess and tryed a new one called anydaycash.com. They were supposed to debit my account on 9/27 and they didn't. They called me today and said I would be charged 49.00 dollars for a being late and that I had called and said I wouldn't be able to pay until 10/6. 10/6 is my payday but they had me set for 9/27 on my promissary note and it said nothing about paying to extend and I never said I wanted to extend.

After getting out of the military i had trouble finding a job. The first sign of bad credit was the repossesion of my jeep. Then came the military star card acct. Next thing i know i'm stuck in debt with no where to turn. I am now married and have a new baby, 7 months old. We desperately want to buy a new home for ourselves but the vehicle loan we have is at 22% intrest. I want to pay what i owe but cannot afford the late fees and penalties that are being charged.
