Well, most of you know that I am working with a debt settlement company and this is coming along fine. There were two small credit card bills that I didn't place with them because the amounts were too small. Well, today I paid one off!! It was a small amount but a triumph in my book!! That is one less thing to worry about :-) Slowly but surely we are becoming debt free. 8)

Well, I pulled my free annual credit report last week. I came to find out one of the payday loan companies that wrote off my balance after sending it to collections is actually on my credit report. Well the CA is so I disputed the item since the CA was aware that the balance was written off from the original creditor. I have a letter from both the original pld and the CA stating that there is no balance and nothing would be placed on my credit report. Well, the information was updated in August so that was a big fat lie.

i have already gotten a consolidation loan and didn't watch what was going on. now i need another to include the one i got and i don't know if i should or just tuff it out.

I am trying to get some help with my debt and the last place i contacted did not deal with citifinancial. Any suggestions, does this site honor those debts??????

When dealing with a SOL account, what do you forward to the collector first, validation or sol letter? What steps do i need to follow? Will welcome suggestions on this matter. Many Thanks.

Ok I sent out my faxes, letters & emails on all the payday loans I am dealing with. I live in Florida and according to the Florida Usury laws they can only charge me 18% if I read them right. Here is a response I got from Cashthis.net. Quote:
