Has anyone out there had any dealings with the collection law firm of Gerald E. Moore and Associates. I sent them a dispute letter within the first 30 days and sent it out certified and yet have not gotten anything from them however they keep sending me settlement letters....wondered if anyone has dealt with these guys.

I have a credit union credit card at 20,000. I'm over the limit by 500 and 2 mos behind. They sent me a letter yesterday saying they have sent it to their collections department. I contacted creditsolutions.com and they wanted me not to pay it till they negotiated, but do credit unions negotiate well? I also have a car loan, checking account and savings account with them. I called the cu and they wanted 503 by the 15th or I'll be 3 mos late and more charges would accrue. creditsolutions wanted 3 payments of 403 and then 14 payments of 196 for their service fee.
