Ok...the time has come. I knew it would! I'm in over my head in debt, and don't know where to turn for help. I have done some extensive online research, but need advice from people who have "been in my shoes"...so to speak. I have spent the last 13 years running up credit card after credit card, then paying them off...only to keep doing the process over and over again. Now, I'm in way over my head. And don't know where to turn. I have about $76,000 in unsecured credit card debt. I have used all available balances to make payments on other cards, and now have hit a wall.

Is there a law that says that a landlord have to inform you that he is sending an unpaid bill to collections before actually sending it to collection. I am currently disputing an electricity bill with my former landlord. I am worried that he will send the bill to collections before I have a chance to resolve the issue myself. This bill is in my name and my friends and I don't want her credit to be ruined because of this. Any help is appreciated. I live in CA. Thanks.

has anyone ever had to deal with alliance assett managment?? i had bad expirences with them i took a loan out with the cash store (a store front payday loan) out and defulted my account got turned over to these guys and a guy name mr jones was very rude he woundt work with freedom point and wanted the payment in full or i was going to get sued..i switched to t &c and havent heard from them recently

hi has anyone heard of the little loan shoppe. i know there a payday loan company on the internet based out of canada.. i took a loan out with them and i defulted with them there nsf charges is 150 dolloars and on the contract it says by signing this you will not included this loan in bankrupcy or debt consolidation.. i havent heard from this comapny and dont know what to do will they work with t&c please help

i just got an update of my credit report and there are items on it that are foreign to me, different social #'s i supposedly used and different names, i was wondering why i kept getting turned down for things, i dont know what to do about all the extra stuff on there...i knew my credit was messed up, i figured i owed maybe 15000, but i see 35000 worth of debt on my report. :shock: :? :x

Have any of you all got a car financied with these people? My brother does and I want to tell you what they did to him. He has a new baby one month old. This baby has been critically ill and in the hospital for 3 and a half weeks. Of course my brother has missed work and is behind 2 mopnths on the payments. They called the ICU at the hospital and told him they were coming to get his car. He is so stressed. Keep in mind that this dirty company's president is also the president of Quik Payday out of Logan Utah. So I guess the sharks will do anything.

Hey Guys this was also in the paper today hot off the associated press. In New Mexico, the industry sued and a judge has issued a preliminary injuction on a state law that said borrowers could renew payday loans only twice. This is disturbing because what judge could side with a payday loan company. This is sure not justice. KYSIDE38
