I need help in florida..I took out several payday loans and I am now caught in that payday loan trap. I have paid back several companies and I seem to have more out there. NOW, they call my work with threats of arrest and court proceedings telling me that they are taking me to court. I thought that they cant sue you for anything under $250 in the state of FL. They try telling me that I have to pay all the court costs and everytrhing else.

I graduated from Marquette with a BA in broadcast, and I wanted to know more about debt consolidation as I'm new to the work force. Currently I'm paying dues in the job market making 10.50 an hour and looking to get a certificate of major from Columbia College in chicago for Arts & Acoustics... I' m currently an enrolled part-time student at Columbia Chicago, and happened to take the last winter semester off. However, I'm getting bills and phone calls from education loan places everywhere and it's getting conusing.

I too have been taken by these scam artists. I lost over $9000 that they refuse to refund. I filed with FTC - the Nevada Attory Gerneal, the Connecticut Attorney General, Arizona Attorney General and the Nevada Attorney General told me to file a criminal complaint with the Scottsdale AZ police department. The stantons live in Scottsdale and the company address there is 303 N. 73rd St, #4 -Scottsdale AZ 85251 - they own a time share at 7515 E De La O Rd., Scottsdale AZ 85255-2747. The Scottsdale AZ Police department was very nice and took my complaint.

Hi, i have 2pdls ( xtra cash , jd marketing). I've recently signed up for h&kennedy cunsumer attorney(i don't think they contacted any of my pdls yet) but those pdls company are saying that they don't work with consolidation comapany. they said that my account was going to collection agency today since my bank account is closed. does anybody know h&kennedy still works with those collection agency? should i wait for attorney to contact with pdls? or make some payment with them? please advise. thanks!

Hello.... I have a debit to Washington Mutual that my ex left me with. I owe $1031.04, and they offered to settle for $618.62. Is this all they will do? I am prepared to give them some money, but I dont feel that I owe that much. Most of it was bank fees from my ex writing a check for $350. I have no problem paying this amount, not the $1000. Any help would be appreciated

I really need help. I have 8 payday loans out right now. Everytime i get paid from my employer my checking account is almost all depleated because of the extention fees they charge. I cannot afford to live like this and i know that i put myself in this situation. I cannot pay my rent on time, my utlities, my car payment in which i had my car repoed because of this. I need some kind of solution but don't know were to start.

I checked out the Cease & Desist letter, which was geared towards CAs, is there something similar for PDLs? I got yet another notice from Interim Cash Ltd., and am now at the end of my rope. As I have mentioned in previous posts, I have already paid $632 on a $200 loan. Interim said they would settle with me for $250. I was so tired of dealing with them that I agreed to it just to get them out of my life for good. They are so incompetent that they have been unable to successfully debit my acct. for the past 2 months now. I have confirmed and reconfirmed my acct.

Hi all my Husband had an account that was owned by an agency that did not update the credit report. We have recently just paid off the account. They sent us a paid in full letter. The collecter told me that there are local credit bureaus that we can take the letter to with Id and they will send it out to all the credit bureaus. I can not seem to find any such thing. Is this true, and if sao where to I find them> If not what is the best way to have my husband's credit reports updated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When a collector calls your house asking for someone who doesn't live there and never has don't say "No they aren't here" and hang up. That gives the impression that this is a correct# and gives a collection agency grounds for believing this number belongs to the debtor and that you are a liar when they call next and you say it is a wrong#. Also, never take a message for someone you don't know because you think it's going to get the calls to stop. It isn't.
