I am in debt(like most people) and have been trying to dig out for a while now, but i useally have just enough to pay just the minimun payment on my bills. I have been to several financial consolers and all have suggested the same thing to me, to get a consolidation lean, problem is how do you get a loan when you already have bad credit?? Any suggestions.

Got a letter from Mitchell N. Kay stating that I owe Palisades Collection for an AT&T debt. I am not disputing it, I do owe it. Called both offices and neither can send a letter saying that if I pay in full that it will be marked on my credit as PAID IN FULL. Mitchell N. Kay says they don't make the report to the credit bureau and Palisades says they don't take the payment...which somehow makes sense, but...How do I get it in writing that if I pay in full, my credit is marked paid in full? Thanks.

Who is in a consolidation program, already finished with one, or had one fail? Have any of you dealt with T & C and what was like dealing with them? The girl I talked to at T&C yesterday made everything sound so easy to deal with. I had another counselor call me today from this site and she told me she doesn't see how they (T&C) could make my payments so low and extend them for 21 months. She said that all the pdl companies would turn me over to collection agencies and that it would go against my credit.

HI! My problem is that I have 3 credit cards, one with a balance of $7000, the other 2 with a $1500 each,and an auto loan with $14000 and i would like to put them together in one and try to recive e lower interestrate rather than what i have now.

I worked in commercial real estate for 2 years and was living off credit cards, as it was a 100% commision job. Since then I have moved to California and am working as a Vice President of Sales for a clothing company and am making good money but would like to eliminate credit card debt or consolidate. so i can start saving money and investing wisely. thank you

Ill make this short and sweet because i have told this story too many time's. Is it legal for a consolidation company to use your social security # as a digital signature and in turn sell your loan to a bank even tho no real paper's were signed ,dated and sent back to them? plus i have no papers of the so called contract. If it is illegal what can i do because i am unemployed and CFS suntech are expecting payment and there no great help either they told me it was all perfectly legal which i dont belive that social security numbers can be used like that.

My story began several years ago. My first experience since being disabled. H-L-T Check exchange. Nice freindly hometown folks. I actually dont blame the nice people, just the legal mafia style loansharking by the companies they work for. Since 2002, I was paying them $500. to get $425. per month. I make about $12,000. per year. Heres the math, $75.00 x 12 mo. = $900.00... x 4yrs = $3600.00. Wow!!! So, when arranging settlements with payday loan lenders, where they "charge-off" a lot of the interest and payoff the principal. How often do they report you to the credit bureau? Or after the fact, one of their "collection agencies" try saying that their is still an outstanding balance and list THAT on your credit report, or telecheck or SCAN.
