Why are u taking money out of my checking account

Last November, out of nowhere, I received a phone call at work from Harold Scherr's office, stating they were calling about my Providian credit card account that I had not paid ( I had run into some financial difficulties due to medical/out of work). I had never heard from these people before. He said that he wanted to give me a call because they were in the process of filing a lawsuit against me, and had pulled my record to see if I had assets to attach to. He said I could prevent it if I came up with $7200 (even though the balance was only around $6110).

i am currently having problems with payday loans being debited from my account....can any tell me hoe to get these consolidated? it appears they are overcharging me and i am having trouble finding out where the charges are coming from....again....HELP!!!!! thanks

I have 4 payday loans. I am 2 months behind on my house payments because of them. My checking account is so messed up. I lent my boyfriend some money from the payday loans and he can't pay me back. I feel like this is the end for me. The payday loans are too easy to get. They ruin people's lives. The clerks are always so friendly. I don't owe them the money. I've paid the loans off too many times. They are worse than loan sharks.

my wages were garnished.I got my writ or notice from a payday co handed to me at work 4 days after they took the money.I had no idea Iwas being sued!!I paid them off in four payments of cash within eight weeks of being forced to close my checking account.they agreed to this and gave me receipts (you know those like cash register ones that fade all are clear but one.I asked for my checks back they said they probably shredded them what should I do

Can you still request debt validation from a collection agency after you made a couple of payments? Palisades sent me a note about a debt saying it would take 90 days for validation and in the mean time i started paying them because i didn't want it reported on my credit report but now it has been 90 days and i havent got validation. Now that i am more informed from websites like this one i think i made a mistake by paying them. they never reported this on my credit report which really makes me think i do not owe anything to them legally. any info would be appreciated. cat

I have been in the process of contacting collection agencies about settling on some old debt, and my wife took a call today from a guy from a company she got a computer from who told her that today was the last day they were willing to settle and if she couldn't come up with the payment or pay them $100 a month they were going to sue for the computer and a financial payment. Well, $100 a month is not an option, and I wasn't home anyway. My question is what should my next step be?

During the past few weeks, my dealings with allied interstate have been very unpleasant. The combination of Allied's uncooperative phone reps and my short fuse have led to a few heated conversations. I do not want to deal with Allied on their own terms but my creditor insists that I must. Would it be best to seek legal counsel or some kind of service that can help me resolve my debt situation within the proper guidlines as opposed to submitting to the strong arm tactics of Allied interstate.

I checked the ranking chart and found that GsD & Debt is a consolidation company in Las Vegas. I checked BBB about them cause I really need help on consolidating my pdl but can't find any information. Please help as I am really desperate. I am running out of time before ai default on all my 13 pdl.
