Anyone ever dealt with Worldwide cash now? I just had to close my account & I can't have them calling me. I am going to contact a debt settlement to try & get this added to my account but what do I do in the meantime. I have 2 weeks before they start calling. Please help!!!

Over four years ago, my identity was stolen. Someone opened several accounts with my SSN. I immediatly had these account corrected (i.e. I contacted the original credit companies). I filed a police report and sent signed afidavts. Now in 2006, one account has come back: Fingerhut. This company has since sold the account (after agreeing that it wasn't mine) to Compucredit, Truelogic Financial and now Midland Credit. I've send dispute letters to all four companies, I've sent cease and desist letter, contacted an attorney and requested verification of the debt.

Well to get straight to the point , i have credit card debt that i need to get rid of, but i just can't seem to do it. I'm currently in school for Engineering and i have a mess load of bills, mostly from stupid mistakes i've made in the past with credit cards. I'm sure my credit card and computer loans don't gross more that 7,000, but all the bills a spead out during the month so its difficult to pay them on time. I just want to know if there's an way i can consolidate all those bills some that i'm not stressing myself out every month while i fall deeper into credit card debt?

I sent a debt validation letter to allied interstate via certified mail on July 24th. I received confirmation of delivery and Allied Interstate prombtly sent me a response letter stating they would send me the validation immediately. The letter included the contact information of the rep holding my case. I figured my letter was effective in reaching the right people. But a few days later, Allied sent me another letter stating that they could not identify my name and required information from me to complete the validation request.

If you can access the Star Telegram newspaper online, you might can find this story - but did anyone know creditors can call the neighbors to harass them about you now? We got a call about our neighbors asking if they lived there, if they were still driving the car, etc...how humiliating for them! The credit collection agency said they got it off the property tax website where it shows everyone who lives on the same street...and it's not illegal.

I'm a little confused. We took out an ARM last year and got a crappy rate (9%) because of some cleanup we had to do on our credit report. So they said after a year, and solid payments, we could re-fi for a better rate. Should I do it? Do we just take out what we owe now or more? We did it I think as a home equity loan. We're slowly climbing out of debt.

:shock: Ok, I started work for Priceline in their travel sales department in mid June....It's all telephone, inbound sales..It's all good fun. So we have this bonus incentive program every month...You have to have at least 15% of your vacation calls, and 20% of your hotel calls result in a sale. It sounds easy, but you also have to take calls from people that are like, "Well....I'm thinking of taking a trip to Jamaica next year...But I don't know what date. What do you mean that prices are based on availability and you can't give me a price without knowing when I want to go?
