Hello everyone. I have a tiny question. Does anyone know where I can find the Georgia State regulations on payday loan soliciations? We keep getting all kinds of these stupid solicitation e-mails and phone calls. It is driving me insane. I usually delete them or tell them off. Now I am wondering what I can do about them. Some of these companies don't take "Leave me the h*** alone" seriously. I know Georgia has strict rules,but I can't find them anywhere. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. C

I have spoken to a creditor and they have told me that in order to stop the EFT/ACH payments that come out of my account, I need to send them a letter, Can anyone tell me what the letter should say or is there an example of one here on this site....Thanks

Can a credit card company put a lien on my land and home, or garnish my husbands wages?

I Have one credit ccard that I owe about 500.00 on and I have bills in my name that where never payed off I did an estimate of all of the bills i owe and it come sout to extactly 3,500.00 although this looks like a small amount now that me and my husband are working we want to get rid of this debt so we can buy a car. My grandmother called me today and told me she had a strange message on her answering machine. Christine from ASG had called for me and left a message for me. She said " this is Christine from ASG. I am calling for Erica *****. We have some unfinished business to attend to. The reference number is...." She left my refernce number on an answering machine where just anyone could call back and get my information. This doesn't seem right to me.

Am I the only one stupid enough to fall for this "To good to be true " scam and how can I get any compinsation for his hatefull deceite.

Hi I'm new here... i have 5 pdl's and i want to get help paying them... this site suggested Consumer credit counseling of America but i would also like to contact that t & c place everyone's talking about?? whats there #??? about 3 months ago a place somehow got my bank info off the internet and took money out which ended up leaving me over $900 in overdraft fees and then it has snowballed and now everyone wants there money now!! and I don't have it... and I can't pay everyone every week and my regular bills ... I'm obviously not rich!! I so don't know what to do...

i was young and took advatage on what i had now i am in a jam i have credit card bills i need to pay and hospital bills i need to pay even pay family off so it has gotten to the point where i can't afford anything sometimes even grocieries for me so if u could help that would be great.
