hi, i need advise. i have my pdls due date this coming friday and don't have enough to pay for those financial charge since i have loans from several places. should i close my bank accnt asap and talk to them about payment arrangement? i really don't know what to do first... somebody please give me some advise. thanks.

Does anybody know anything about a company called American Liberty Credit Services? There out of Dallas.

I have some debt, but I'm not sure what I should do. I spoke to a settlement company called forget-a-debt and they told me they would do a settlement for $500 for me on a $15,000 debt (Bank of America). I am already behind, so I think settlement is best for me given my options and decreased income. I called the BBB and they had good things to say about them. They apparently offer debt consolidation as well, but the payment is too high for me. On the other hand, another settlement company was going to charge me 15% or something of my total debt.

I am new to this forum. Basically I have about $6000 in cc debt and am looking for a good company to settle it. Also $600 from Cash advance/payday loan companies in local area (will debt settlement companies settle those as well?) Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance

I have reported some of my payday loan lenders to the BBB and my state Attorney General's office. The BBB seems to be no help, the pdl issues a response, I submit a rebuttal, the pdl issues their response to my rebuttal (generally the same as their initial response) and the BBB marks the complaint "closed". And my Attorney General's office has not issued any kind of a response to me on any of my complaints (the first one was filed close to two months ago). Is there anyone else that you can file a complaint with?

Hello everyone, I know the last thing most of you need is more debt. BUT ***** really helped me and that is why I feel like I need to pass the info along to you guys. First my story~ I got into PDL's really deep. None of them ever defaulted because I kept getting new ones to cover the fees on the old ones. I think when I finally paid all of them off, I counted about 12 different companies. :( I bank with Wells Fargo and even though there were times when I didn't have enough in my account to pay all the renewal fees on the PDL's my account paid them and I had many many NSF fees.
