I just found out that I am being sued. The law office of Gurstel Chargo out of Minnessota filed a suit against me on July 30. The name of Discover Bank is what the crediter says. I only know this cause I saw it online under our state circuit court access. I do have debt out to Discover Card in the amount of almost 19K. I hired an attorney a year ago to help negotiate a settlement. I have not heard from my attorney in 9 months. The interesting thing is in Wisconsin, the SOL is 6 years. My debt is with two Discover Cards, both I stopped paying in 2006.

Arrow has a judgement against me for $3100. I am under a very tight time frame so I guess that I missed out on requesting them to validate the claim. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with them as far as settling with them such as a 40% offer for removal. Or in my case any kind of settlement. Are they aggressive like that?

I know that the state of PA had 4 enforcements against Payday Loan Providers in 2nd quarter of 2012 but I can't seem to locate which ones they are. I logged onto their website but can't find a list. I also googled and no luck. Is there anyone that can help me please. Thanks

I borrowed $400 from VIP loan online and lost my job. When my email account got terminated, I forgot about the loan. Kind of out of sight out of mind. Well a year later they are taking me to court for $1300.00. They never tried to contact me but the court document deliverer called me and got me in one day. I just read the thread on payday loans and how to stop them so I am going to list the ones that I have loans out to in the state of California. I am really freaked out and want this to stop and would like to close my bank account and do all those things, but will I be able to open a new one? I can't go through life without a bank account. I had a charge card that went in to collections in sep 2005. Lvnv bought it in april 2006. Do I have to pay it off, because I'm getting letters and phone calls (everyday) about it. Also i know that the statue for ct is 6yrs should I let it go?
