Has anyone had any dealings with them? I Signed my husband with them last month he paid the consultation fee and I have kept tabs with them and they say they sent out the proposals ect.. I just wanted to get feedback from others.. Oh and it is Hess and kennedy (consumer credit counseling of america)

I noticed on my credit report that the companies that I included with my BK that was discharged in 2002 are still reporting. Are they allowed to do that?

Company/Individual reported: United Federal Bank I have been receiving threatening calls from Andrew Flintoff, who claims he is an Affidavit Processor for United Federal Bank whose client, Debt Doctor, gave me a payday loan. He said my case file was being downloaded and I was also going to jail for check fraud and that 7 or 8 people would be either at home or here at work to pick me up. He said, "Don't worry - we'll find you. We know where you live and where you work." I called the Police Dept.

Hi all: I am asking this question for my co-worker...she and her husband have an unsecured loan through their credit union and have recently enrolled in a debt consolidation program. The credit union knows this but is telling her that they can still take them to court for non-payment. Can they do this? Thank you

Does anyone know where I can get the Ohio State Law on PDL's? Also, I need to find a company to consolidate my PDL's. I seem to be having no luck finding one. I am working with a collection attorney that this web site hooked me up with, however she stated she wouldn't be able to help me with PDL's. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. I really need to get out of this nightmare.

About 27 days ago I sent a request for debt validation to Gerald E. Moore. Today I received a validation of account. Says 15 USC 1692g validation of account, the cover letter says 15 USC 1692g validation of debt and collection activity will now continue of this account. Well the letter does not say they are authorized to collect in my state.

hi, I am 21 and trying to start my financial life over. I had a couple of credit cards right out of high school and a good job to pay them. Things changed though and I lost my job along with family issues that has made it impossible for me to pay the cards off for over a year now. I am now back in school trying to get a career started. Is there anything yall can do to help me figure out how to pay these cards and balances off with a limited income? Thank you

I have sent letters to Apple Fast Cash, United Cash and 500fastcash. I have heard NOTHING from any of them. I have stopped the drafts at the bank. Should I call them? I have sent numerous emails to each of them also and they will not return any correspondence from me. They were quick to contact me when I stopped the first payment...but since the letter was sent I have heard nothing.
