I am 25, recently purchased my first home in 2005 of June, and while doing so, my father fell sick. While being in the hospital for 3 and half months the bills kept rolling. I was working two jobs, but it still didn't seem enough, so I fell prey to the Internet Pay day Loans. I am at work right now and received a voice mail from "Ellen" from United Legal. Curious on what steps I need. I also received a call from "Pay Services" from Jacksonville, FL. the other day (June 8) and has been constantly harassed since.

Has anyone heard of American Debt Control? I have been in contact with them and am having serious concerns.

So for years I have had this Mandees account. It's about $390. I have so much crap from my "I the smartest teen in the world" years that I have to pay off. I do it little by little. Just got done with a $2000 student loan. I actually didn't mind that NJ Dept of Edu garnished my wages. It took less time and I received $300 back as they overcharged me. But this Mandee's I call every two years and it's the same woman who answers. I ask her can we cut a deal she is like no it's in judgement. I say judgement? I haven't gone to court. I tell her I wll give her $225 to settle right now.

Okay, I joined about a month ago and recieved a call and email, but I never responded, I think i was in denial, I am also the kind of person who thinks I can do everything on my own and I still thought I could fix my problem. Fortunately I realize thet I need help, I am already in deep enough and I need help before I completely drown. Today is my first day back and I am ready to get the help I need. Unfortunatley I didn't keep the info from the first contact, so now I am going to call the number from this site and finally take the step to feel better.

Does anyone know if they are licensed in the State of Washington? I emailed them and they told me I needed to send a fax to the complaint dept., which I did. No response. Then I called their customer service number and asked the question. The woman put me on hold and never came back.

Hello all. I'm new and I have been reading around the forum and will continue to do some research, but thought I would share my situation and see what anyone thinks. I have about $17,000 in credit card debt, which is mostly from my past 5 years during college. I have 7 cards with rates ranging from 7.9% to 31%!!! I want to consolidate into one payment with a decent rate. I was quoted by Counsel for debt solutions, John Leaberry PLLC for a $474 monthly payment for 47 months. I want to do more research before I sign away on anything.
