I have lived outside the US for five years and in another year I plan to move back. So of course, I would like to clean up my credit beforehand. I recently pulled a credit report from the three agencies, which to my surprise all have different information. My credit summary from these credit agencies list different debt amounts: Experian lists my total debt as $4886, Equifax lists my debt as $4959 and TransUnion lists my debt as $15,107. The problem I have is that most of my debt is old and I therefore do not any account numbers.

Okay---those of you that know me, know that its been one thing after another with these wells fargo people. I finally got them to talk to me a few months back. I got a nice letter thanking me for informing them of all of my problems that I have had in the past year with them in trying to pay my account. They instruct me to get in touch with their collection department and start a payment plan. which I did, ASAP. Then in just a matter of days, I'm hearing from "NATIONAL ACTION" saying they have the account now. Okay, I was really ticked!!! wells fargo says one thing and then does another!

Just got a letter from an attorney that said that a judgement lien has been placed on me and any real property. I don't understand how an attorney or court can do this without any notification to me. This seems very wrong and I am at a loss on what I should do. Oh, by the way, the letter used my old address of 4 years ago. Our local postmaster knows me and gave me the letter.
