I've read several discussions were letters are being sent to the payday companies. If I recall, one was called a letter of verification?? Can anyone tell me what type of letters they've sent to these people and what results they've received? Any copies would be appreciated. Any feedback on how to research if a company is licensed in your state?

They were going to have me arrested and taken from my job....biy was i stupid...i paid..they said i could get a refund if i showed identity theft i did but how do you get them to do any thing or even return calls..

I can't find this information, but does anyone know who is not licensed to do business in NC?

I have read several topics mentioning letters being sent to the payday lenders. I've heard letter of removal and letter of validation/verification? Can some give me a little guidance? I need to get the ball rolling on consolidating my payday loans. I will be contacting T&C on Monday but need to know what sending out letters will do.

Have been rsearching Texas law tonight...and think I might have a way to get some of my PDLs to cancel my debt owed...might not end up needing T&C afterall. Here's what I found in the Texas Code: Texas appears to have an interest cap of 48% apr + a $10 loan fee per loan. Also saw a statute regarding "alternate interest" on cash advances >$100. It states that a $10 acquisition fee is allowed + an installment handling charge of $4/month per $100 loaned. I have paid WAY more interst in this. How do you think I should proceed?

Hiday& Ricke garnished my wages thru my employer. Never asked me if I was head of household, I am (Fl law). Can they get away with that?

I have been in default with 5 PDLs for two months. Interim Cash is calling my cell phone about 5 times a day and leaving messages. I don't even listen to them. Quick Payday has called twice and left messages. Got a letter via email from One Click Cash threatening further collections and telling me to contact them so I will keep my good credit standing with them (LOL). I did talk with Payday OK right after I defaulted and told them I could not pay anything at the present time and ask what would happen. The rep told me "nothing". As it stands, I have not heard anything from them.

Anyone know Rossman and Co address or something?
