My PDL update19 years 9 months ago Hi all, I just want to say I finally feel like I am on the road to financial "wellness". I know I have only been with T&C for about 3 wks and I just paid them my first official payment but I have pretty much stopped getting nasty calls. When I talked with T&C this morning it looks like all my lenders, except 1, are willing to work with them. T&C will send me copies of the signed proposals at my request that way I can keep record of everything. I know I still have probably a month before I am caught up on everything I got behind in because of the PDL's but it's so much further than I was.
Collectors Ask FCC to let them call cell phones19 years 9 months ago Remember the rumour about how telemarketers would soon start calling your cell phone? Now the collection industry is asking the FCC to close the loophole that disallowed that. Collectors and telemarketers alike would be eating up your cell phone minutes. Personally I don't see how it would be legal, because you'd be paying for the call, just as if it were reversed charges, or collect.
Has anyone heard of or dealt with Carlton Financial Group19 years 9 months ago I have been trying to find a company that would offer a loan even though my credit is bad. I have been trying to consolidate so turned to the internet (that is how I found this great forum). Carlton Financial Group out of Baltimore, MD contacted me today and offered a loan for $6,000 (that is there minimum according to there website, carltonfinancialgroup.net). They are supposed to email me a contract this evening (I had to email my latest paycheck stub, driver's license, and social security).
