No right to receive payment history??

19 years 9 months ago
I just called J.Taylor's office (plaintiff attorney representing PRovidan Bank against me for an OLD debt). The belligerent woman on the phone explained to me in a ocndescening voice that payment info could ONLY be sent to my attorney and that she was following the way the legal system is set up. I told her that I believed I had the right, as a consumer, to receive verification of that debt and account activity.

Debt Settlement - Collection Agencies

19 years 9 months ago
I need some advice. I have about 12,000 in collections on my credit bureau. I field BK in 1998 and don't really want to do that again. I decided to use my income tax money to help pay this stuff off, hoping to get some great settlements. I sent out letters two months ago and recieved two replys back. Today I called all of my creditors and tried to work with them. I have one more paid as of today and the others are not accepting what I have available for them.

Debt settlement - installments or payment in full

19 years 9 months ago
Can someone please tell me if it would be smarter to pay off accounts in full that have had past due payments made in the past OR now the payment history is good with these accounts to continue to make payments monthly. I want to know if my FICO score will raise if I pay in full these credit cards off? I thought I once heard that having credit is good to have with recurring payments monthly? thanks
