Ok, so I just took a little walk down the strip here to Walmart and got the most JINORMOUS bag of Starburst candy...And some purple Peeps. Then, I bought a large Cherry ICEE from the snack bar... And then on my way out, some church was having a bake sale, and I got 2 caramel chocolate eggs, and some of these little cup things with some kinda crunchy chocolate goodness. So needless to say, I'm a bit wired right now. Now I remember why Easter and Halloween were so AWESOME when I was little...Halloween you get to go to all the houses in your neighborhood and everyone gave you CANDY!

Well, I received a response back from the consumer protection office in Delaware regarding the one company that is licensed there and who is not licensed in Ohio. According to their bank commissioner's website, they are licensed there. I thought they were located in the state of Delaware but now I'm not so sure. The letter stated they could only help me if the business was actually located in Delaware but a lot of companies are incorporated there, or something along those lines.

I am living in the state of Montana, The loan was generated in Florida. I have a balance of 14K on a personal loan through a former aquantance. We got about 2 months behind from lack of income and his attorney contacted us trying to collect the entire balance. The hand written contract say nothing about collecting the entire balance upon default and we are now caught up with him as of 2 months ago. To date he has returned 7 checks, 3 that were originally signed by him and then crossed off and written across them refused and another demand for payment in full.

I've wondered this myself. I think the ads are brought by what we're talking about....It gets aggrivating. Not sure if we can specify what types of ads we would like.

Oh this is wonderful.. I don't have to pay quickpayday anymore! They sent me an email a few weeks ago saying they would reduce me amount owed by $160, which brought my amount owed to $200. I called them, and they took another $50 off for me. I did some math and sent them a letter...You guys here gave me all kinds of ideas! I got an email from them this morning saying my account was paid in full and that they pride themselves on excellent customer service. Whatever. I replied to the email telling them I want a written statement from them saying my account is paid in full.

Just got another Equifax Score Alert! I'm officially at 507! :) I'm not sure how long this will last, because it went up, I believe, from one of my accounts from Asset Acceptence being disputed. I disputed 2 accounts from SBC..One from Asset, the other from CBA Collection Bureau. I've only had one phone, so one of these guys will have to go. But if this ends up verified, then my score will go back down, right? It will be fun while it lasts anyway. :)
