Collections demand letters from creditors with T&C

19 years 9 months ago
I have received email snail mail letters from creditors that are being handled by T&C. T&C received their retainer, and I'm set up for bi-weekly payments. I've tried calling 6 times this week, and was on hold for over 25 minutes each time. I had to hang up because I had other things I needed to do. I desperately sent a fax today, and hopefully someone will see it on Monday. Anyone else have this problem? Dana

Question about T&C

19 years 9 months ago
Ok, so a lot of people in the community have retained T&C to help them get their debt under control, and seem very happy with them. Here are my questions... Is T&C the actual name ?? or initals? If initials, what is their real name? Can some one please send me their number? While I dont need their services, I would like to have it to gove to others who inquire in the forum. Feel free to PM it to me.

i have also been with MMG/RSK MNGMNT since 2001 and to date they have NOT paid off most of my accounts. They continue to withdraw money from my bank account every month but I have nothing to show for it. creditors continue to call me non stop through out this whole time with them but when i try to contact their cust serv nobody ever answers, calls back or answers emails. They have close to $10,000.00 of my money now and I can't get any resolution. I want to take legal action but don't know where to turn.

pay day mess

19 years 9 months ago
Thanks for the info, but because of other isues, I use my visa debit card tied to my checking account in place of writing checks in a store. I'm thinking if I close this account, I won't be able to get another one. Any ideas? If the bank just changes my acount number, if they will, will the card I have carry over to the new account?

payday loan mess

19 years 9 months ago
I have so much money going ut every paycheck in interest I can't pay my household bills. My husband is out of work without pay due to surgery for 4 months. If I close my account can I get another bank to open an account with a visa/mc debit card? That's what I use when I'm in the store.

Hi guys.....

Sorry I haven't been around much. Been very busy between kids and work. I know a lot of you have been PMing me about my wrist surgery, it is on Monday morning. I went in today for my pre-op physical, and during the EKG they noticed an abnormality so they did a heart ultrasound (echocardiogram). They discovered that I have a somewhat serious heart condition called aortic insufficiency. I'm not sure what they are going to do about it, but I do know that my activities are a bit limited for now, so hopefully I will be around more often after my surgery, if I can type!

How to improve credit score?

19 years 9 months ago
read full article here, (URL snipped -Vikas) "If you use your credit card heavily to reap up the air miles rewards, you may actually be hurting your credit score. Credit scores do not know your name and who pays off the credit bills at the end of each month. All they know is the outstanding amount due. Therefore, if you are due to pay 3000$ in May, and a lender checks your credit report before you make the $3000 payment, your credit score will be low. Thus, what's the lesson?

Question about multipe tradelines for the same debt

19 years 9 months ago
Ok, I searched, and am a little confused. Please somebody clarify this: I have a CC debt that was "Charged off" and sold to a collection agency. I settled with the collection agency, and have paid off the debt to them. On my credit report, the original creditor (the credit card company) has reported the charge off, and the collection agency has reported the paid collection. Since both of these tradelines stem from the same debt, and that debt has been paid, should they both be reporting negative tradelines? In some posts it has been implied that this shouldn't happen, i.e.

FNB Marin Bank turning into Credit One

19 years 9 months ago
Another ? about companies not participating in debt mgmt. The bank was FNB Marin they said they do not do any type of benefits w/ credit counseling. They have now chged to BankOne. Do they participate in this type of repayment? I don't understand how they can say "NO" to a repayment plan. I am not trying to get out of paying. I have just been paying & paying & the balances go NOWHERE. It makes me so mad.

Question Dell Financial Services

19 years 9 months ago
Ok everyone I have sent my retainer fee to T&C for payday loans. I have currently been enrolled in another credit counseling agcy for 1yr for terrible credit card debt. My question is does Dell Financial not participate in any service of this kind. My balance has gone NOWHERE in 2yrs. This is ridiculous.
