Does anyone know of a good and credible loan company that will do a consolidation loan for a person with out having to use the realestate for collateral?

i have credit card debt in australia while living there. what are the repercussions now that i'm living back in the states. can this debt be put on my credit report here?

Finally, a piece of good news ( I think) ....I was just informed by Consumer credit counseling Services that it is illegal in the state of NC to garnish wages for anything other than child support or taxes. The collector is breaking the law in NC if they even call and speak to your employer about your personal debt. This is all very new to me and I am still gathering info....but at least it seems NC has one law that is on our side!

I received several calls from Interstate Wire Compliance Bureau. Now keep in mind that I had 4 companies unauthorized taking money out of my checking account every two weeks to the tune of 349.00. First I called my bank and had this stopped immediately then I called the police. Since I have been in contact with the FTC and AG office of both my state and the state of Florida. THEN>>>>>>>> I called the toll free number to Interstate Wire Compliance Bureau and stated that for legal purposes I needed their address. They wanted my name and I refused.

Is it illegal for creditors to call where you work to try and collect what you owe?

I just received another phone call from these clowns. I have sent them a cease and desist letter requesting they only contact me via usps and yet they continue to call me every 3 days at work. Any suggestions of what I can try next?
