If you are not aware the upcoming DebtCC Personal Finance please give it a check.
This will be an open source(the buzz word these days) application.
I have tried to pen down my requirement, you can also suggest your requirements that Mr Vikas with his team can develop an application which can help all of us in managing our Personal Finance.
Thanks,

Could someone please tell me how I would go about finding out if a pay day company is licenced or not in Ontario?
I took out a pay day loan with a company in Ontario and they operated under a specific name. I am in the process of fighting with them because they are trying to charge me a different amount.
I was wondering if anyone on the forums has a commerce bank checkings account and are dealing with payday loans. I tried closing my account down last week but somehow it stayed open and all the debits went through making my account negative. I was wondering if anyone went through the same thing and was able to dispute it. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
I am 25 and I had a good paying job that i lost. My new job is makeing half of what i use to make. I am really getting behind in my bills. If i can get caught up and get a few paid off i will be fine. I have gotten help from my parents in the past, and i need to be a man and do things on my own. Do u guys have any advice on maybe a loan company that can help me get my debt down to one low monthly payment? And also i have not so great credit :(
As some of your valuable community members have noted some times a post gets more debtcc points and sometimes a similar post gets less debtcc points.
I wanted to explain how the debtcc points work so that such questions get answered :D
The points to be awarded for a post are determined by a software/algorithm and not by hand.
The software/algorithm looks at the following factors to decide how many points to give:
* The history of other posts made by that author.
* How helpful other people are finding posts made by that author.
I have a tip to share that has worked for me very well in the past. When it comes to staying out of debt I give myself at least 24 hours to think about it before I buy it. Always! Half the time I am glad I did.
If you have any to add please feel free here.
Ashley

Can one spouse consolidate and the other not?
My husband is suffering from the loss of his business. It was sole proprietorship - he is personally responsible for a lot of credit card debt and several outstanding bills related to the business.
We are trying to avoid bankruptcy and I would like to keep my credit intact.
Thanks,,
