i was wondering if people could talk about their success stories getting them out of the whole payday loan thing. im going through it now and it would be nice to hear about how people freed themselves from it. just gives you hope i guess.... what methods did you use to get yourself free? did you do consolidation? what company did the consolidation? how do you avoid the companies from repeating debits on ur account? any type of info would be good

Please help!!! My fiance just a call from this number 973-687-7861. They said that they are a collection agency located in Boston representing T-mobile. However the number is listed to Newark, NJ. It is also registed to Omnipoint. When I called the number back it has a voicemail and an option to page. If anyone knows of any info on this please advise. Thanks to this website my fiance and I have been reading thru all these forums and he resonded quickly and cautiously.

Hi all :) This post is geared toward the Moms of the board, but some of these ideas are good for anybody. Here are a few ideas that I have gathered for saving a couple bucks...every cent makes a difference for those of us in debt!! 1. Work on that electricity bill!! Consider purchasing an energy-efficient appliance when possible. Turn down the fridge a bit during the colder months. If you can, hang the clothes out to dry instead of drying them in the dryer. They smell great too :) Turn the thermostat just a couple degrees in either direction depending on the season.

We are working with T&C and have sent everything out to them and they have sent information to my payday loan companies. However, today Nationwide Cash called my husband and demanded a new checking account and he gave it to them. I am about angry right now. Can I revoke the payments since they are the program? He wimped out when they called him and threaten to sue him for fraud. I have talked to him until I am blue in the face that they can't do this but does he listen. What can I do now to get this stopped? We just opened up a new account?

We recently moved and keep getting annoying telephone calls from collectors looking for whoever had this number previously. When we try to explain that it's a new number for us etc... they do not believe us. They are very aggressive and rude. We've also been getting automated calls asking us to call back for a personal business matter. How do we handle this?

what happens if you have a checkings account that is in negative of about 600 dollars? im with commerce bank. my bank account mite go negative for that amount in a short amount of time. this is the first time this has happenned to me. i dont have the funds to cover it either so im not sure what to do. what happens if i just leave it as is?
