Has anyone heard of a company called AAA Credit and Recovery with the phone number of (888) 223-4214. They keep calling me and not being specific as to why they are calling me only that I need to call them right away to resolve a pending matter. I live in Ontario. Also, I have some payday loans outstanding and am curious as to what happens if this company has been sourced by the pay day company? How do I know if they are legit when asking me to send them money? How do I know if they are calling on behalf of the payday lender? How do I get any documentation?

Ok...Here's how you know I'm obsessed. I had a dream last night that I got some collectors to get off my credit report. I was all excited. Then I woke up. :roll: But maybe it's a good sign! :) YAY!

Hi! I have a confusion regarding the two topics debt consolidation and debt consolidation loan. What is the difference between the two ? I mean in both the cases the multiple debts are converted into one single account. The interest rates are also lowered in both the cases. Then what is the basic difference ? It will be helpful if somebody can put some light into it.

Okay---I have an account with HFC under my name. It was running late. So in order to make sure they received the payment ASAP and understood what my intentions were, I post dated them a check. I mailed them a letter and the check at the very end of last week and figured it wouldn't get there until about the middle of this week. I explained that the money would not be in the bank until the 3rd, to please hold the check until that day and cashing it before that time would cause hardship for me since the funds would not be in the bank UNTIL the 3rd.

Anyone dealt with these people before? Dell is claiming that ARS National has at least one of my husbands dell accounts. And they claim that ARS National collection agency has mine as well (I have one). Although my husband has four accounts with Dell--oxford is calling saying they have all four, yet dell has emailed me back on one account so far, and they're saying that ARS has it. This is INSANE!!!!!!!!! can I go jump off a bridge now? I'm waiting to hear back now about who has the rest of the accounts. These accounts have been passed around like hotcakes. and tell me, why is this?????

What if I have bad credit score. I think my score was 581, plus have garnishment/repo on my record and listed in check systems(I don't owe anything anymore though). Can I still get a loan? I don't mind high interest as long as the payments are reasonable.

Hey all, I'm trying to do debt consolidation and have received offers to consolidate through "Hess Kennedy & Company" and "Credicure". Has anyone had any dealings with these companies? If so, how would you rank them? Thanks everyone. Alex

I've recently ordered a credit report and saw that an unpaid debt with Best Buy which was reported on 5/2002 was transferred to LVNV Funding. It now shows a debt from both creditors. I settled the debt on 11/2005 from LVNV for less then full balance. Since the debt has been tranferred to LVNV the estimated date of removal has been increased till 10/2012 from 2/2009. Can they start the 7 year process over again when the debt changes hands?
