I honestly have never heard of any collection agency threatening people to pay their debt. Well, now that I've been on this board, I can. Is it me, or is all collection agencies based in Jacksonville follow the "bad debt collection" rules? How is it that it is taking more than one complaint for the law to investigate this, when it's obviously common among more than one agency? thoughts, comments, ideas....?

Is there a specific amount you have to be in debt before you can get services because I only have 7k in debt, but im only covering finance charges so it doesnt move :oops:

Does anyone have any information on Superior Debt Services? Or has anyone dealt with them? Thanks, J

I just got a call from A+ debt free. The phone number on the phone was Financial LLC 941-360-2512, the call back number was 800-536-2575. He explained the program which sounded more like debt settlement than consolidation. Does anyone have any experience with them good or bad? Sincerely, Quicksand

I just consolidated my loans with WDF program. I have received my first payment statement. Do they change the payment after reviewing income tax info.? My phone is not working to call them-so thought I would ask here. Thanks.

I just received a very rude phone from a man saying he was representing OneClickCash. He wouldn't tell me his name. He kept interrupting me telling me that they deposited the money in my account and that is my validation of the debt. I told him No it's not and I want a statement. He then told me to look at my bank statement of the deposit because that would all the statement I would be getting. I finally said that since he wouldn't let me talk or discuss this matter calmly, that I was hanging up.

I owe about 20k to 25k in credit cards debt, but lately business been slow and Im having a hard time paying them off..I have never missed a payment (well maybe once-10 yrs ago) in the last 16 years. my credit history is excellent and score is well above 720 range. I do have cash to pay them off but with other bills such as food, school, gasoline, electric bills and a home payment it would be hard for me to commit to paying the Credit card off, I dont want my hard earn history and score to drop though. any suggestions ? :oops:

These folks call3d me again today and say I owe 400.00 to Rio Resources. I have never taken an loan from Rio and when I told them that I wanted any corresponsdence in writing they claim they have sent me a notice and will not send another one. I am going to send them a valadation letter is there anything else I should do?

Hello everyone, after a couple of months of being an unofficial counselor here in this forum. It's time for me to fill in all the holes and tell my story. I was 18 when my sense of self completely evaporated. My parents divorced, I was raised poor and had to slave at these dreadful jobs since age 16, working for people who treated me like a lowly peasant. At 18, I had a full-blown eating disorder, I was a senior in high school and my grades were the worst, and I was beginning to completely withdraw myself from society. I hated people and wanted to slap everyone who got on my case.

Now that I am working I would like to get a loan to pay off all my debt and just pay back the loan each month. Where can I find a good loan without sky high interest rates while having bad credit?
