THIS PLACE IS A DEFINITE CON!!! I applied for a payday loan online for my mother. A few days later, she was called at her job by a salesman. His fast-talk sales pitch included a $7500 line of credit and cash advances of up to $500. He had all of her information (bank account number, social security number, contact info, date of birth, etc. ) so she assumed they were partnered with a company she had used in the past.

I recently had a credit check done and found midland credit management on it..however they have never contacted me about a debt (the same thing is on there 4 times all the same amount and thre same company) i have been researching and i can't find a number for them is there any way you can help? I have a huge credit report, I have multiple cc accounts that are 10-15 years old from stores closed down or stores I don't even know where to find. My question is two-fold: 1. Do all these little 0 balance accounts hurt my report? 2. How do I get them deleted from my report?

Help! I have been diligently and painfully paying off my credit cards. I have been really good about not using them. After the Hurricanes I needed a new roof and chose AMEX to pay it, I knew I had at least 10K available. I only needed 4K. When the charge was denied I called and they said they lowered my limit to $500 above what I currently owed and that they would send me a letter informing me of this decision.

If you live in Washington state and have dealt with questionable (or worse) payday loan practices please post. If you can list the company and if it is an internet payday loan the website if possible. If it is a store front list the name and location. I am doing this inorder to see if I can convince a local attorney to spearhead a class action suit to once and for all stop the crap. Also if you have dealt with a collection agency collecting a payday loan please list the CA next to the payday lender. Lets go get em

HI all, As some of you may already know or already be affected by it, many credit card issuers, including Bank of America, MBNA, Citigroup, and Discover card will soon be raising their minimum monthly payments from around 2% to 4%. I wonder how many of you will be negatively affected by this change? I know that many people can barely pay their minimum payments as it is. I think that this policy will help a lot of people get out of debt by paying down their credit cards faster, but some people will not be able to keep their head above water.

A 6 month CD renewed automatically was sent without due notice to abandoned property.The bank argues that they sent a notice via registered mail TO A P.O. BOX that before belonged to the original bank. Because of this I have lost interest for more than three years , I`m going to lose more by the process to rescue my money and for a lot of expenses in phone calls, faxes and register mail.The bank says they lost my original contract and try to make me sign a new one in order to not kidnap my checking account. I do not live and never have lived in the US. Do I have a case?.

Hi all, I've been putting off trying to clear up my debt mainly because I haven't had the income to do so. What I make barely pays the rent, utilities, gas and food. I don't go anywhere (movies, out to eat, etc). So doing a budget analysis is moot. I'm lucky to have $20 to my name at the end of the month. Most of my debt is 3 medical bills (small to most people), a couple of book clubs (I was doing just fine for a long time), and 1 credit card. It was a $300 limit card. Now with all the interest, it's over $800. Oh, and my student loan. In all, I have about $15K in debt.
