anyone know this number? they called me today and left message with this call back number. didn't say who there were and on my caller ID, it showed up as 'unknown' also, didn't say who the message was for but did leave a reference number. I'm 18 and I need help. I have let a bank account get way out of hand and I now owe the bank $1,300 and collection agencies another $1,500. I have no idea what to do. I am working full time and trying to pay off as much as I can, but as many know Collection agencies aren't known for being patient. What do I do? I have no credit/bad credit, I have nothing major in my name (car, house ect) and I don't know where to turn! Any ideas? Please anything will help, I'm thinking of joining the armed services to avoid this if I can't think of something and quick.

I am new to the world of bad credit and debt and I want to know how this whole debt consolidation works. Can someone explain this to me in a way I can understand?

I've never posted here before, but figured any advise would be helpful. Here's the low down: 5 years ago I had a phone company. I was unhappy with the options I had, and switched companies. The first company never called me (that I remember) about oweing anything. I soon started recieveing phone calls from a collection agency, saying I owed 160$. I'm a dirt poor college student. Didn't have the money then, and defenitly not now (that I've been laid off). I was under mental stress (especially then), and agreed to a "deal".

I've been getting calls from allied interstate for about two weeks now. They only call during the day when I'm at work. They leave messages about every fifth call which don't specifically ask for anyone by name, or say any more than please call Re: an important business matter. I'm working with a debt settlement company. Last week I had my debt negotiator contact Allied Interstate on my behalf. She was told by a manager at AI that they have no accounts under my name or SS#, yet the calls continue to show up on my caller ID. I'm just wondering what I should do, if anything?

I filed bankrupty and then I go and get payday advances loans with out my husband knowledge. Now I can not pay these back, one company has worked with me and I am making payments. How do I get the others to work with the stupid mistake that I have made. HElp

Hey I've been reading this forum and so far it's been helpful. I had a bank account with bank of america and had payday loans deposited into the account and had a hard time paying it back so my account kept getting debited to about 1425 dollars. My bank account was closed and sent to SRA Associates in Hi Nella,New Jersey. I want to repay this but I am unable to . I talk to a lady there today and she told me my only option is to pay the full amount or a settlement of 1100 dollars.
