Does anyone know how and if payday loans are reported on credit bureau and if I enter into a program with Town & Country to consolidate these debts with payday loans and how will this affect my credit?

Update: I looked at the Florida Dept of State, Division of Corporations website. I did a search on Ellis, Crosby & Associates. When I click on their name it comes up with The Offices of Anthony Galloways & Associates, Inc. Their main address is 17 E 43rd St Jacksonville, FL 32208. It says this changed on 10/17/05. Also, it says the mailing address is 4320 Deerwood Lake, Suite 503-101 Jacksonville, FL 32216 this also has changed on 10/17/05. Also on the same page is says the Last Event on this company was an Amendment and Name Change on 10/17/05.

I received a call from the yesterday on my cell phone. They called at 4:33pm(PST). They wanted me to call them before 5:00pm(PST). As soon as I got the message, I called back. There was no answer. I do not want them calling on my phone because it charges me. How can I have them stop? Any advice would be helpful to deal with them. Thank you. :?

I got a credit card my first year in college back in 1989. I never did pay it off. Why isn't this still on my credit report? What does it mean that it isn't listed on my credit reports? Thanks Ohpp32

Don't ask how I found myself on their website. I'm not even sure I know, but this quote from thier web site is interesing , and quite a breath of fresh air from a collector if they actually walk the talk.. There is a new collecter out on the prowl. I took out a $200 payday loan back in 2003. I attempted to pay it back but it got so out of hand and not to mention expensive that I just have been ignoring it since 2004. So I get a call yesterday from Shelby Guy at this Taylor James and Associates outfit.

Has anyone had any dealings with Accounts Receivable Technology? Who do they normally collect for? My rep at Town & Country is going to call them but I was just wondering until I hear back from her. I did call them but didn't say much and their computers were down. I told the guy I didn't want to deal with it over the phone and he said we should be getting or have gotten a letter. They are in Woodbridge, NJ, the office that called us. He did give me an address.
