I just received a call from 500 Fast Cash and they stated did not have to provide a letter of validation since they were not a 3rd party collection agency and that I needed to get my bank statements and look that up myself. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to handle this company. I am thinking of sending them another letter stating I am unable to pay anything until I receive a letter of validation. When I do a search on their phone number all of these companies come up? Does anyone know who they really are?

Has anyone heard of Asset Acceptance? I pulled my credit report and there was an item on there with their name as the creditor. There is no open date and the last reporting was 11/05, and the last activity was 12/00. I don't remember having any such bills for $1900 in 2000. If anyone has any info please let me know.

I don't know what i can do or how i can get help on this matter. I'll start w/ how it started i guess, i was working as an electrician towards the end of 2004 (had been for 3 years prior) and got injured on the job. This was after we had moved into a new house, and had replaced one vehicle. As I have stated before your best bet is to stay away from payday loans all together. But if you have no other choice, it is important to educate your self and know the laws governing the transaction.
