Will I be able to use my credit cards after using the consolidation program?

oh great! Mailed a payment last month like I do every month to a collection agency, ACB American. We had worked out a deal back in the summer and I'm to mail a payment every month by the 30th of that month. I mailed it just as I always do. Got a letter today from them dated December 1, 2005, It was the usual bill looking form but in the middle it says 'Arrangements not kept" **Remit in full immediately**. Now what? I did mail the payment, I guess with the holidays it caused the mail to run late. Its due on the 30th and on the 1st they type me out this letter.

I just received a call from 500 Fast Cash and they stated did not have to provide a letter of validation since they were not a 3rd party collection agency and that I needed to get my bank statements and look that up myself. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to handle this company. I am thinking of sending them another letter stating I am unable to pay anything until I receive a letter of validation. When I do a search on their phone number all of these companies come up? Does anyone know who they really are?

Has anyone heard of Asset Acceptance? I pulled my credit report and there was an item on there with their name as the creditor. There is no open date and the last reporting was 11/05, and the last activity was 12/00. I don't remember having any such bills for $1900 in 2000. If anyone has any info please let me know.

I don't know what i can do or how i can get help on this matter. I'll start w/ how it started i guess, i was working as an electrician towards the end of 2004 (had been for 3 years prior) and got injured on the job. This was after we had moved into a new house, and had replaced one vehicle. It took about 6 months to finish settling the dispute between myself and the insurance company and only received 7000.00 for my troubles. It has been hard to find work in this industry even though i am at full health and functionality again.

New Law protects you with Pay day lenders. The catch is the loan has to be deemed to have taken place Within the Sate of Illinois. Many Internet pay day loans will not be governed by this law. Be sure you fully read all disclosures (yes the tiny tiny print) and understand where your transaction is deemed to have taken place. As I have stated before your best bet is to stay away from payday loans all together. But if you have no other choice, it is important to educate your self and know the laws governing the transaction.
